Used Colt M4LE LE6921 5.56mm (will shoot also shoot .223 Remington) Short Barrel Rifle with a 14.5″ barrel. It features a flat top with a fixed front sight, a Colt Keyhole marked carry handle / rear sight, a M4 contoured chrome lined barrel with a 1:7 twist rate, a bayonet lug, is marked on the upper with the C AF (Colt Alcoa Forge according to some and Colt Accurate Forge according to others), lower has the M4LE and the desirable double bullet marking on the left side, and the “Restricted Military / Government / Law Enforcement / Export Use Only” on the right side. This is a former Virginia State Patrol issued SBR. Based on what I can find, this serial number is low for this model, but I cannot find any place to verify the date of manufacture, though I believe it is pre-2005. Most of the barrel dates have been from 2002-2004. Most of these are missing the front sling swivel, as they were set up for single point sling use and also have a single point end plate on the lower receiver. These are fairly clean for LE guns, but could use a cleaning.  The one pictured may not be the one you receive, but will be in very similar condition. A must have for any Colt M4 / AR-15 collector. Keep an eye on my listings for other LE uppers, lower receivers, and complete guns. THIS WILL BE TRANSFERRED ON AN E-FILE FORM 3 AND MUST BE DONE THROUGH A SOT (CLASS III) HOLDER.

Refer to pictures for best insight as to the condition of the gun. I take my pictures outside in natural light, which generally (can be a little to bright or dark) shows more imperfections than indoor pics, which gives the buyer a better idea of the condition than I can explain or rate. Unless noted I do not test fire the guns, but perform a function test.

It is the buyer’s responsibility to verify the legality of the gun, gun accessory, or ammunition within their state, county, or municipality. The seller will not be responsible for any fees, refunds, or shipping costs due to a failed background check or a discovery that the purchased weapon is not legal to purchase in the buyer’s location. Used guns are sold as used, therefore all used guns should be inspected by a qualified gunsmith before use. I accept cashier’s checks and Visa/Mastercard/Discover/American Express(3%).  I can also accept money orders, but being that I have to send those to my bank for deposit, expect approximately shipment 1-2 weeks AFTER I receive payment.   Payment may either be made through the requested Card payment option or by sending to the business address.  I may consider layaways, but generally don’t do them. When I do, I generally require approximately a minimum of a $300 non refundable down payment.

I have a FFL and will ship insured USPS priority mail for most pistols and UPS ground for rifles. Shipping will factored upon purchase request. I automatically include insurance in factoring shipping cost. Please request no insurance in the purchase request if you don’t want it, but I will not be responsible for any damage claims. Do not plan on an in person pick up, unless contacting prior to bidding, as my schedule is all over the place. I will ship to C&R holders for C&R eligible guns. If C&R is in header of auction, then I’ll ship to C&R. I will ship to CA, but it is the BUYERS responsibility to make sure that the firearm is legal there and that their FFL will accept the gun. A CA returned gun due to not being on CA roster will result in a 25% restocking fee. I ship at least once a week which is usually on Wednesday. The faster I receive payment and FFL, the faster I’ll try to get the item shipped. If an item is damaged during shipment, the original packaging and item must be kept. I cannot make a claim on without the packaging and damaged item. I will not refund for any damages during shipping if the packaging and damaged item have not been kept, as I cannot submit a claim. Shipping damage claims will not be done if that option is chosen.

Firearms shipped to FFL dealer only 

I will ship upon receipt of payment and signed legible copy of dealer’s FFL via mail or email. It is the BUYERS responsibility to find and FFL in their area and arrange for that FFL to be sent to me. Expect delayed ship times (1-3 weeks) if I am requested or expected to obtain the FFL for the buyer. 

3 Day unfired/unused return policy. I will gladly accept returns for any failure on my part to disclose anything or if there are any functional issues that I failed to find/notice. I am not Amazon and will not accept returns simply because your gun style has changed from day to day like my wife treats her shoes and her returns to Amazon. I attempt to take pictures of everything in order for the purchaser to be able to make their own opinion as to condition, so it is the responsibility of the bidder/buyer to review ALL pictures and read the description before purchasing if there is a buy it now.

I am a collector first and seller second. SOME of the guns I list, I am not in a hurry to get rid of or wouldn’t mind keeping. Some of these I may list at high market value, as I may change my mind and decide to keep them.
